If I were to do this piece again, I would have tried a different format. I had an introduction, but no real "hook" to get listeners interested in my piece. I could have had a more interesting lede, using an unusual approach to the health care debate. Introducing the subject and having them talk might bore listeners. Maybe I should have included more information in between the actualities to develop the point of the story and why listeners should care. Also, there was no real suspense to the piece that would keep listeners wanting to hear what comes next. I also wish I had found someone with some sort of anecdote to include in the piece and asked subjects to expand on their views and their views' origins.
