If I were to go about composing my piece again, I think that I would work harder to narrow the focus. As it stands, my topic is very broad which leaves the mind a decent amount of room to travel, and therefore allow more room for the audience to become confused. Instead of speaking about the bus changes this year in general, I would talk about only the addition of the green line. Also, I think I would narrow my interviewing to only Leonardtown residents because they are most directly affected by the change. I think that my piece raises a good point that could turn into a compelling piece, it just did not quite make it to the point of being compelling itself. Also, I noticed that there was a little bit of handling noise that I still need to work on fixing. I believe that it will come with experience, as the noise is minimal and this project marked my first experience using my new audio recording device.
